2010-2011 The show season this year has begun with our dear Megan attending the Collie Specialties in New England in Feb. She was shown by one of our own Natasha Holowaty who did a fabulous job and was taken down with our own Beth Rutherford along with Caylea. Caylea picked up a 4 pt major and Megan was pulled for winners and or went second in class to the BOV winner so a wonderful start for her. She then went to ME Specialty with Beth Rutherford and Jill Nickerson and again was in the top 3 both shows in an absolutely beautiful line up of Rough girls. Caylea won her smooth class in ME as well.

Along about this time we received a call from CKC telling us that when they told me in October that Megan had 3 pts going back to the show ring they were wrong she only had 2 so we had to finish her for the second time but they would not take away her big wins as she was entered in the classes so her NUMBER 4 Collie in Canada was saved if we went out for one more point. We entered Pictou Kennel Club and prayed she would hold coat. She took BOB and Group 3rd and is now really Can Ch Highcroft Mischief A Foot under Doug Gaudin to whom we are most grateful.

Bannerstone Rosepoint Envision aka Brisco our Colm X Holly blue son was entered only on Sunday of Pictou shows and it was his second time at a show but he definitely loves the whole scene like his Daddy. He took BOB, Group 1 and RBIS under Avery Gaudin who we are most grateful too for the honor.

Meanwhile in California at the Collie Club of America National Brisco's brother Rosept Bannerstone Encore aka Corey won the 12-18 mth class at the National and has one of his majors as well as some minor pts. We were thrilled for Amy Gau and of course for Colm X Holly.

Bannerstone's FrontPage Blues aka Paige took BOB at Truro Shows piloted by her devoted owner Natalie Worth.

2009-2010 The HeartBreak for us is the Hole in our Hearts left by BISS 2003 CCC National Winner Am/Can Ch Bannerstone's Midnite Spectre aka COLM who we lost to stomach cancer at 10 years young. I miss him more everyday as I see his last litter mature with glimpses of himself and his true Collie Temperament and Movement.

A synopsis of the past year saw us have a beautiful litter sired by our Colm out of Am Ch Can Ptd Rosepoint Winterfest aka Holly Jan 28, 2009. These puppies are all in their new homes and Holly's co owner/co breeder Amy Gau taking three of the litter home to Mn. The two boys Amy kept tri Corey and blue Tyler have both been to shows and have started on their minor pts at the tender of age of 6 months. Our blue boy Brisco at his first show in October took back to back BPIG and his first minor points at Cobequid Dog Show. The blue bitch in the litter Paige owned by close friend Natalie Worth took BOB and BPIG in November at Moncton Kennel Club shows. We are very proud of these youngsters and look forward to their future.

In April at Pictou Kennel Club our Colm X Megan son Cormic took a BOB, Group 1 to finish and followed up with Group 2 the next day for insurance so is now Can Ch Bannerstone's Golden Nimbus. Cormic is now co owned with our dear friend Jerrica Coady Farrell who loves this new addition to the family.

Our Highcroft Mischief A Foot aka Megan 3 years to the day of breaking her leg went back to the show ring in Truro and took Breed from the classes and then on to PEI shows where she took BOB all 3 shows she was entered in, over the largest collie classes we had been blessed with all season. She also took Group 2nd and two Group 3rds one at the Maritime Group Seven Specialty and her son Cormic went BOS to her all three shows.

Our co bred litter with Mary Niezgocki of Charizma Collies in Mn also has seen some success in the showring with our own Bannerstone N Charizma O'Rauri aka Rory obtaining a BOB and BPIG at Canning show and Drew Dowling in Alaska picked up his boy's first major as did Mary with her first of two she kept Charizma's Crown Royale aka Dealer so another fine start to a promising litter.

Beth Rutherford has been out with her smooth girl Caylea an Am/Can Ch Seawhisper The Mystic daughter out of Am Ptd Charizma's Summer Breeze and has placed in Group consistently and gone on to a Group 1 and BPIS at Moncton shows. At the Atlantic Top Dog Awards dear Caylea took Group 1 and we were all thrilled. Two other littermates that are rough are awaiting their turn too start with us.
